SpecialtyRx is expanding into Cook County, Illinois and is seeking a motivated Account Executive to support and oversee relationships with long-term care facilities and assisted living communities throughout the surrounding Cook County area.

Under the supervision of the Regional Account Supervisor, the Account Executive will serve as a key liaison between SpecialtyRx and our client facilities while upholding company standards, values, and regulatory compliance.

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. We take pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

As we continue expanding our operations into Cook County, Illinois, we are looking for professionals who are passionate about customer service, healthcare support, and building long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities:
  •  Schedule and perform routine visits to assigned facilities. 
  •  Respond professionally and promptly to inquiries from client facilities. 
  •  Understand and address client facility needs effectively. 
  •  Collaborate with pharmacy staff to resolve facility concerns and communicate important information. 
  •  Perform medication and treatment cart audits for survey preparation. 
  •  Audit antibiotic, PO, IV, and backup medication boxes to ensure proper par levels and expiration compliance. 
  •  Audit emergency medication boxes to ensure proper seals are in place and medications are current. 
  •  Build and maintain strong relationships with Administrators and Directors of Nursing at client facilities. 
  •  Support facility satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving. 

Qualifications:
  •  Illinois LPN, RN, or PTCB certification/license preferred. 
  •  Long-Term Care pharmacy experience preferred. 
  •  Strong knowledge of healthcare procedures and facility operations. 
  •  Ability to prioritize tasks and make quick, effective decisions. 
  •  Motivated and solution-oriented mindset. 
  •  Ability to work independently while also functioning as a collaborative team member. 
  •  Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills. 
  •  Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. 
  •  Willingness to travel throughout Cook County and surrounding Illinois areas.
